Thompson, de altfel un prieten bun al actorului american. Filmul il are in centrul atentiei pe jurnalistul Paul Kemp, interpretat de Johnny Depp, un jurnalist ce va intreprinde o calatorie in Puerto Rico.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Au existat indoieli in ceea ce priveste receptarea acestui film de catre publicul american, insa Depp nu isi face probleme si crede ca filmul va prinde mult mai bine in Europa.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Cred ca filmul va fi mult mai bine apreciat aici, cred eu. Spun asta pentru ca filmul mi se pare unul inteligent&#8221;, a declarat actorul american pentru publicatia britanica &#8220;The Guardian&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Johnny Depp a mai jucat rolul principal intr-o ecranizare dupa un roman al lui Hunter S. Thompson, &#8220;Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas&#8221; din 1998 fiind un film de succes in acea vreme.<\/p>\n<p>Actorul american crede ca, desi filmul nu este un succes din punct de vedere comercial, acesta poate trece testul timpului. &#8220;Cred ca acest film este unul reusit, desi in aceasta saptamana nu s-a bucurat de un mare succes in America.
